What We Believe
God and Humanity
God created a good world, but sin entered the world through Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and completely corrupted the world, separating us from God.
The Bible is inspired by God and offers God’s timeless truths that we can depend upon. Scripture documents the various journeys of God’s people and how God has displayed his love to them and is a true reflection of how God loves us.
The Lord’s Supper and Baptism
It is through the sacraments of The Lord’s supper and baptism that God displays his love to us. In baptism, we die to sins and rise rise to a new life with Jesus Christ our Lord. As we receive Communion we reaffirm our faith in Christ–that his death and resurrection give us eternal life. All who receive Christ as Lord and Savior are welcome to receive these Sacraments.
Victory in Christ
God is still active in our lives and he tirelessly reaches out to everyone through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ death and resurrection is the only means by which he defeats sin and death and restores God’s people to an intimate relationship with God.
Christ will return to spend eternity with those who confess him as Lord and Savior. No one knows the hour that Christ will return. We teach, as Christ did, that a person should honor Christ with their life at all times with the hope that one day we shall hear his joyous words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant, (Matthew 25).”
